Stops in Pebble Beach, Greensboro and Las Vegas are Next Opportunities for
Girls to Meet with and Learn from Annika
The ANNIKA Foundation – golf Hall-of-Famer Annika Sorenstam’s charitable organization – has released locations and dates for the next three editions of its “Share My Passion” clinics.
The first will be held on June 9 in advance of the 119th U.S. Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California. Girls between the ages of 6 and 12 are invited to write a letter to Annika telling her why they love golf, and why other girls should learn how to play. Annika and her committee will then select the 40 most-compelling notes and invite their authors to the clinic. This opportunity is open to girls residing in northern California.
The day, which will be held in partnership with The First Tee and in collaboration with the USGA, will begin with participants rotating through stations taught by Annika covering the fundamentals of driving, putting and fitness. Following this, the girls will enjoy a healthy lunch.
Annika will then conduct a clinic for the girls and their guests. She will cover everything from pre-round warmups to shot execution while fielding questions and sharing her passion for the game of golf.
Clinics on July 29 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina – at the PGA TOUR’s Wyndham Championship – and Southern Highlands Golf Club in Las Vegas on October 27 round out the 2019 series.

The ANNIKA Foundation is devoted to growing the game of golf around the world. It annually hosts six girls-only invitational tournaments on five continents: the ANNIKA Invitational USA presented by Rolex, the ANNIKA Invitational Europe and ANNIKA Cup (Sweden), ANNIKA Invitational Mission Hills (China), the ANNIKA Invitational Latin America (Uruguay) and the ANNIKA Invitational Australasia (New Zealand). At the college level, it hosts the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M and annually bestows the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel to the most outstanding female Division I golfer as voted on by peers, coaches and media.
Since the inaugural Foundation tournament – the 2009 ANNIKA Invitational USA – 45 ANNIKA event alumnae have earned LPGA cards. Forty-two alumnae competed in the 2019 U.S. Women's Open.
