ORLANDO, Fla. (2026) — The ANNIKA Foundation, founded in 2007 by Hall of Famer Annika Sörenstam, proudly announces its 2026 global events schedule, featuring a robust lineup of girls’ golf clinics, international junior invitationals, elite amateur and collegiate championships, executive women’s events, and signature fundraisers across the United States and around the world.
In addition to its on-course “More Than Golf” programming, the Foundation will host seven to eight “More Than Golf” Virtual Series sessions throughout 2026, designed to further educate and empower young women beyond competition. These interactive sessions will focus on critical life topics such as goal setting, staying confident, handling pressure situations, leadership development, and navigating life on and off the course – all reinforcing the Foundation’s holistic approach to player development.
“Our mission has always extended far beyond competition,” said Annika Sörenstam, Founder of the ANNIKA Foundation. “Through our events and expanded virtual education, we are equipping young women with tools to succeed not only in golf, but in every aspect of their lives.”
The 2026 calendar also includes the presentation of two prestigious honors in women’s golf. The Foundation will recognize two outstanding student-athletes through:
ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel, honoring the top female collegiate golfer for excellence in both performance and character; and
ANNIKA Inspiration Award presented by the Cleveland Brothers, celebrating an ANNIKA alumna who exemplifies leadership, integrity, and a positive impact after competitive golf.
Spanning North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, the ANNIKA Foundation’s 2026 schedule reflects its continued commitment to creating opportunities for women and girls at every stage of life — from first-time golfers to top ranked junior/collegiate players to young professionals and now even executive women — while fostering confidence, character, and community.
