Laguna Golf Phuket to Host 2026 ANNIKA Invitational Asia in Thailand

Phuket, Thailand (2026) — The ANNIKA Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sörenstam, is bringing the 2026 ANNIKA Invitational Asia to Laguna Golf Phuket in Thailand. The tournament will take place April 30 – May 3 and will feature 78 of Asia’s top junior players for a 54-hole stroke-play competition. 

Now in its second year, the tournament moves to a new venue following its inaugural edition at Blue Canyon Country Club.

Laguna Golf Phuket, the island’s premier golf course, is set within Laguna Phuket, Asia’s first fully integrated destination resort. This par-71 course spans 6,756 yards around the Banyan Tree Phuket property. With gently rolling fairways, serene lagoons and expertly maintained fast greens, this award-winning venue will offer players a world-class golfing experience.

Aligned with The ANNIKA Foundation's mission to develop, empower and advance young women through golf and in life, the event will offer a platform for participants to compete at an elite level while participating in different ‘More Than Golf’ activities to enhance their experience, build global friendships and develop skills that extend beyond the course. 

The top three finishers and ties will earn a coveted exemption into the 2026 Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational presented by Rolex, which is known to be one of the most prestigious junior golf tournaments in the world. This tournament, hosted in partnership with the AJGA, will be held in October at The Country Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, GA. The ANNIKA Invitational Asia also carries full WAGR point eligibility.

Just last year, the Foundation launched a new initiative in Asia: the ANNIKA Invitational Asia presented by Baskin Robbins Japan, a junior girls’ golf tournament held in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. The ANNIKA Foundation’s presence in Asia continues to expand, playing a crucial role in growing the game of golf globally.
