St. Augustine, FL – 13-year-old Avery Zweig captured her first AJGA title at the Diamond Resorts ANNIKA Invitational presented by Rolex. The 2025 graduate fired rounds of 74-67-68 for a tournament total 7-under-par 209.

The No. 73 ranked player in the Rolex AJGA Rankings also earned low final honors in addition to her new champion title. Zweig’s final round began with an opening bogey but turned quickly as she proceeded to card seven birdies in route to her 4-under-par 68.
Zweig’s game has been on the upward trend since last summer. In her last four AJGA starts the Texan has not finished outside the top-5, including a T4 finish at the 2020 AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational.

Kendall Todd of Goodyear, Arizona, finished the tournament at 3-under-par 213 solidifying her spot in solo second. This is the 2021 graduate’s first appearance in the ANNIKA Invitational and her best finish in any AJGA Invitational.
Megha Ganne of Holmdel, New Jersey, matched her 2020 finish at the ANNIKA Invitational of T3 this year and bettered her score by two strokes with a tournament total 1-under-par 215. The Stanford University commit has been on a top finish run in AJGA events since summer 2020. Ganne did not finish outside the top-5 in her last three AJGA starts, which included two invitationals.
Hyo Joon Jang of Seoul, South Korea, finished the 54-hole event in solo fourth with a tournament total score of even-par 216. The 2022 graduate finished her 2020 season at the Rolex Tournament of Champions finishing in the top-10, solo seventh.
Megan Propeck of Leawood, Kansas, rounded out the top-5 finishers. The 2021 graduate’s 3-under-par 69 final round boosted her into the top-5. Propeck, a University of Virginia signee, bested her 2019 finish in this event of T9.
The tournament was highlighted by a final round appearance from tournament host Annika Sorenstam. Sorenstam also hosted a zoom for the tournament participants to answer a wide range of questions pertaining to her career, and advice for the girls moving forward in golf.
