Delaware's Mary Grace Dunigan (-4) leads after round one of the More Than Golf Invitational

Georgia Southern (+2) holds the top spot ahead of the second round
University of Delaware's player, Mary Grace Dunigan leads the first round of the inaugural More Than Golf Invitational with an opening round of 4-under-par 69.
Dunigan started her round strong with three birdies on Nos. 1, 2 and 3. On the par-3 No. 4 Dunigan carded a sole double bogey. Not letting that rattle her mindset, Dunigan continued pushing to the top and carded three additional birdies on the back nine before closing out her round.
In solo second, Illinois State's Morgan Jones sits just one stroke back of the lead at 3-under-par 70.
At 1-under-par, there are five players tied for third:
Mary Miller, Georgia Southern University
Alessandra Nagayo, Kennesaw State University
Hope Hall, Dartmouth College
Olivia Cong, Darthmouth College
Hyunji Kim, University of Delaware
The second round continues on Saturday with tee times from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. of Nos. 1 & 10.
About the Tournament
The inaugural More Than Golf Invitational presented by Bank of America is set to take place at Old Barnwell in Aiken, S.C., March 27-30, 2025. The new women’s golf tournament, co-hosted by Augusta and Columbia universities, offers a memorable golf experience while providing players with the opportunity for life and career development.
The individual medalist in the More Than Golf Invitational will be awarded up to three complimentary entries into the 2025 ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour.
The More Than Golf Invitational is about more than just the game of golf. In addition to the competition, this event aims to facilitate networking and mentorship opportunities for the players. The tournament will feature a College-Am and reception for the entire teams and College-Am groups at Old Barnwell on March 27 as well as an Executive Women’s reception and dinner on March 28. This gathering will provide a unique opportunity for more than 20 selected executive women to share life and career advice with the student-athletes.
