Invitations to the second Augusta National Women's Amateur were sent out shortly after the new year and 57 players in the of the 72-player field have confirmed they'll participate April 1-4 in Augusta, Georgia.
Of the 65 women scheduled to play, 57 have competed in ANNIKA events including our most recent ANNIKA Invitational USA presented by Rolex champion, Benedetta Moresco of Italy. Four other former ANNIKA Invitational champions are confirmed to participate including Lily May Humphreys of England, Grace Kim of Australia, Ingrid Lindblad of Sweden and Agustina Zeballos of Argentina.
Two-time ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M winner and ANNIKA Award recipient Maria Fassi finished runner-up in the inaugural event to Jennifer Kupcho. The duo put on quite the show as they finished their final round at Augusta National and showed the golf world what sportsmanship and respect is all about.
