ORLANDO, Fla., (August 13, 2026) — The ANNIKA Foundation, the nonprofit organization founded by Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sörenstam to develop, empower, and advance young women around the world through golf and in life, today announced a two-year partnership with 1Password, which joins the Foundation as its first cybersecurity sponsor.

"This partnership is about much more than golf," said Annika Sörenstam, Founder of the ANNIKA Foundation. "We're focused on preparing young women for success beyond the course. As technology and artificial intelligence continue to shape the future, partnering with 1Password creates meaningful opportunities for our participants to build confidence, learn from accomplished leaders, and explore careers in technology, business, and leadership."

The partnership reflects a shared belief that confidence, leadership, and access to mentorship and professional networks help young women succeed on the course, in the classroom, and throughout their careers. Together, the ANNIKA Foundation and 1Password are expanding opportunities for participants to build those skills while exploring how technology and AI are shaping the future.

Over the next two years, 1Password will serve as a sponsor of the Foundation's More Than Golf  programming. Participants, including junior golfers, collegiate athletes, and emerging professionals, will have opportunities to connect directly with 1Password leaders through speaking engagements, mentorship, executive networking, and collaborative programming designed to help prepare them for success both on and off the course.

“Golf develops many of the qualities that define great leaders, including discipline, resilience, confidence, and strategic thinking,” said David Faugno, CEO of 1Password. “Those qualities matter in every arena, and they will become even more important as AI changes how we work and lead. We’re proud to partner with the ANNIKA Foundation to help more young women build the skills, confidence, and relationships they need to aim high and become the next generation of leaders.”

"This type of partnership creates lasting impact," said Rob Ohno, President and CEO of the ANNIKA Foundation. "1Password immediately understood that our mission is about developing the whole person, not just the athlete. Their willingness to invest in our participants and share their expertise makes them an ideal partner as we continue creating opportunities for young women to thrive on the course, in the classroom, and throughout their careers."

Programming throughout 2026 and 2027 will include in-person and virtual events across the United States.

About the ANNIKA Foundation

Annika created the ANNIKA Foundation to develop, empower, and advance young women around the world through golf and in life.  More specifically, the Foundation provides opportunities in women's golf at the grassroots, junior, collegiate and professional levels while teaching young people the importance of personal development, including living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition.

Additionally, the Foundation hosts "More Than Golf" sessions and activities throughout the year to educate and promote successful performance beyond the golf course, including topics such as mental health, physical fitness, financial literacy, public speaking, career development, and much more.

The Foundation uniquely supports girls through golf at every life stage — led by the greatest female golfer of all-time.
