After three solid rounds this week, Yana Beeli of Switzerland brings home the title at Halmstad Golf Club with a score of 6-under-par.

Yana Beeli shot a final round of 3-under-par to seal the deal and take home the crown at the 11th ANNIKA Invitational Europe. Heading into the final round, Beeli was tied for the lead with Balma Dávalos Guaita of Spain. The Swiss native started strong with a birdie on No. 1. But ultimately, made the turn at even par after another birdie and two bogeys. Beeli took back her lead when she made eagle on No. 11 to gain a two-stroke advantage. Kinga Kusmierska of Poland made birdie on No. 15 to move to tied for first with Beeli and put on the pressure. A birdie on No. 17 gave Beeli a one stroke lead and she made par on the final hole to take home the hardware. Fleur van Beek of Netherlands shot the low round of the day at 5-under-par helping her move up the leaderboard to finish tied for second with Dávalos Guaita and Kusmierska.

“A very important thing for Annika as well is healthy competition and that is what describes my round today,” explains the 17-year-old. “Matilda and Balma, we had such a blast, and it was so cool playing with them.”

It was a beautiful week at the scenic Halmstad Golf Club, playing on both the North (ANNIKA Invitational Europe) and South (ANNIKA Cup) courses.

“Thank you to the ANNIKA Foundation and especially Annika for getting young players to play in such great competitions,” adds Beeli. “I’m really looking forward to coming back to Sweden again.”

Thanks to her victory, Beeli will earn an exemption into the Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational USA presented by Rolex, along with Kinga Kusmierska, Fleur Van Beek, and Balma Davalos Guaita. The event will be held in January 2024 in Orlando, Florida.
