LAKE ELMO, Minn. (September 2, 2025) — The ANNIKA Foundation is proud to host the 2025 ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M from September 8–10 at Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. Widely regarded as one of the premier events in women’s collegiate golf, the tournament will welcome 12 of the nation’s top-ranked programs, including the reigning NCAA Champions, Northwestern University.

This year’s field features:

·       Arizona State

·       California

·       Duke

·       Minnesota

·       Northwestern

·       Oregon

·       Pepperdine

·       San Jose State

·       South Carolina

·       Southern California

·       Texas

·       Wake Forest

The competition will be broadcast via livestream for the second and final rounds, brought to you by Babygrande Golf. Coverage will feature a seasoned team of commentators and analysts: David Marr III, a veteran Golf Channel host and broadcaster with deep knowledge of the professional and collegiate game; Steve Scott, remembered for his legendary duel with Tiger Woods at the 1996 U.S. Amateur, now a respected PGA professional and coach; Emilia Migliaccio Doran, a former Wake Forest All-American and Curtis Cup player, now a rising voice in golf media.

Together, they will bring insightful analysis and storytelling to elevate the viewing experience for fans.

Beyond golf, the week embraces the ANNIKA Foundation’s “More Than Golf” philosophy, with enriching opportunities designed to inspire and connect the next generation. Highlights include a college-am designed to connect the collegiate players with corporate executives and business people, Junior Day presented by RBC Wealth Management, where young female golfers will learn from college athletes and golf pros, and an interactive dinner at the 3M Innovation Center, featuring Annika, offering student-athletes a unique window into the intersection of sport, science, and leadership.

As an added incentive, the winning team will receive one exemption into The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, an LPGA Tour event taking place November 13–16, 2025, in Belleair, Florida. Coaches and the team will select one player of their choice to accept the exemption, giving a deserving collegiate star the opportunity to compete alongside the world’s best professionals.

Last year, the University of South Carolina captured the title in dominating fashion, with Hannah Darling notching an emotional individual victory. Demonstrating the team-first spirit of the event, Darling passed the LPGA exemption to her teammate, Louise Rydqvist, who went on to make her second consecutive appearance in the Tour event.

“We are thrilled to welcome such an elite field back to the ANNIKA Intercollegiate,” said Annika. “This tournament continues to showcase the very best in women’s collegiate golf while also inspiring these young athletes to grow as leaders both on and off the course.”

The ANNIKA Intercollegiate, now a staple on the fall collegiate calendar, remains a vital part of the Foundation’s mission to provide opportunities for young women in golf and beyond.

About the ANNIKA Foundation

Annika created the ANNIKA Foundation to develop, empower and advance young women around the world through golf and in life. More specifically, it provides opportunities in women’s golf at the junior, collegiate and professional levels while teaching young people the importance of personal development, including living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition. Throughout the junior and collegiate tournament circuit, the Foundation hosts “More Than Golf” activities and sessions that aim to educate and promote successful performance on and off the course covering topics such as mental health, college recruitment, career development, financial literacy and more.

The ANNIKA Foundation annually conducts several “Share My Passion” grassroots clinics designed to introduce girls to the game. It also conducts seven major golf events around the world for aspiring junior girls. In addition, the Foundation annually hosts two major collegiate events, the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M for the top 12 Division I programs and the More Than Golf Invitational for top Mid-Major Conferences. With the support of the Haskins Foundation, the Foundation created the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel, which is given annually to the best collegiate female golfer. In 2022, the ANNIKA Development Program was created to support recent college graduates pursue their dreams of playing professional golf. In 2024, the Foundation partnered with the ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour to provide development and advancement opportunities for young professionals looking to one day play on the LPGA Tour. The Foundation also is the main beneficiary of The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, a new tournament tradition that began on the LPGA Tour in November 2023. Most recently, the ANNIKA Inspiration Award was created to recognize past ANNIKA players who are giving back to their communities and making an impact off the course.
