Updated: 6 days ago

The inaugural 2023 SERI PAK & ANNIKA Invitational Asia concluded just as it started, with Korea’s Yeram Kil securing her first ANNIKA Invitational title in wire-to-wire fashion.

Today, the course put players to the test with the windy conditions. The 17-year-old from Korea played a final round filled with highs and lows, shooting 1-over-par with three birdies and four bogeys.

After starting the day with a one-stroke lead, Kil fought to stay in the lead and finished the tournament at 6-under-par 210, winning by two strokes. With her win, she received an invitation to play in the 2024 Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational presented by Rolex in Orlando, FL and the 2024 Seri Pak Desert Junior presented by Bay Area Lyme Foundation in Rancho Mirage, CA.

Kaili Xiao, hailing from China, put up a great fight throughout today’s round. Xiao moved up the leaderboard from third place to second place with an impressive seven birdies and two bogies, finishing second at 4-under-par 210. Song Baek played a steady final round with two birdies and two bogies to tie for third at 2-under-par. The front nine presented fellow Korean Haein Sung with a challenge, but she finished strong by carding eight pars on the back, finishing tied for third. Xiao, Baek, and Sung will join Kil, earning invitations into the 2024 ANNIKA Invitational USA presented by Rolex and the 2024 Seri Pak Desert Junior presented by Bay Area Lyme Foundation.

Golf legends, Annika and Seri Pak were on site throughout the day doing media and taking in the action. After the round, the girls participated in a seminar which included a Q&A portion with Annika and Seri Pak and an immersive stretching session hosted by The Gen Hospital. This was followed by a celebratory farewell dinner to close out the night.
