Georgia Southern University dominates day two of the More Than Golf Invitational

After round two, Georgia Southern (E) leads the More Than Golf Invitational by nine strokes. The Eagle's Mary Miller (-6) takes over the lead in the individual category. The team increased their lead by six strokes heading into the final round.

Miller started the morning with a birdie on No. 1. She carded four additional birdies and two bogeys throughout the day. Miller's round was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 No. 12 and currently holds a one-shot lead over Delaware's Mary Grace Dunigan.

Following behind Miller and tied for fifth, Natachanok Tunwannarux (E) carded two birdies and a sole bogey on the front nine. She battled back and forth on the back nine to finish the day at even-par.

The final round will take place on Sunday, March 30th with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

The inaugural More Than Golf Invitational presented by Bank of America is set to take place at Old Barnwell in Aiken, S.C., March 27-30, 2025. The new women’s golf tournament, co-hosted by Augusta and Columbia universities, offers a memorable golf experience while providing players with the opportunity for life and career development.

The individual medalist in the More Than Golf Invitational will be awarded up to three complimentary entries into the 2025 ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour.

The More Than Golf Invitational is about more than just the game of golf. In addition to the competition, this event aims to facilitate networking and mentorship opportunities for the players. The tournament will feature a College-Am and reception for the entire teams and College-Am groups at Old Barnwell on March 27 as well as an Executive Women’s reception and dinner on March 28. This gathering will provide a unique opportunity for more than 20 selected executive women to share life and career advice with the student-athletes.
