LPGA Tour legend Annika Sorenstam and her selection committee will handpick 40 girls to attend a special clinic on Nov. 11 in Naples, Fla.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 11, 2018 – After holding successful events in 2016 and 2017, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf and the ANNIKA Foundation will this year partner with IBERIABANK and Escalante Golf to host the third "Share My Passion" letter contest and clinic.
Girls aged from 8-13 who reside in the United States are invited to write an open letter about their love of golf and why other girls should learn to play. The top 40 letters, as handpicked by LPGA Tour legend Annika Sorenstam and her selection committee, will then be invited to attend the "Share My Passion" LPGA*USGA Girls Golf clinic.
This clinic will take place on Nov. 11, 2018 during the build-up to the LPGA Tour’s season-ending CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla. Winners will spend the day receiving instruction from Sorenstam and top LPGA Teaching Professionals from the Naples area, while also enjoying a special behind-the-scenes tournament experience.

Annika, who is a member of the LPGA and World Golf Halls of Fame, won 89 tournaments during her stellar career, including 10 major championships. After stepping away from professional golf in 2008, she turned her attention to building her ANNIKA-branded businesses – which include the ANNIKA Foundation and other initiatives such as the ANNIKA line with Cutter & Buck – and raising her young family.

The top 40 "Share My Passion" letters will be featured on LPGA.com, GirlsGolf.org and LPGA*USGA Girls Golf social media, further promoting Girls Golf’s mission of empowering and inspiring girls through the game.
